Dan Greening is CEO of BigTribe, building a geographic affiliate marketing network. BigTribe has received 3 National Science Foundation awards for small business innovation. In 2002, Greening chaired the technical committee that wrote the widely-used Mobile Location Protocol (now in Open Mobile Alliance).

Greening was Engineering VP for Macromedia. He co-founded LikeMinds, which Macromedia acquired in 2000. He was CEO of Chaco, which built virtual reality clients. He headed UNIX engineering for STI, which Novell bought in 1990.

Greening is an expert in personalization, quoted in Scientific American, BBC news, and InternetWeek. He holds a computer science Ph.D. from UCLA.
